I wouldn’t put it past weather orgs to intentionally report or forecast for milder weather, rain, etc. It gets everyone going with the “man it wasn’t supposed to be this hot,” or “wow we haven’t had rein in weeks it’s getting dry.” Pile on the global warming propaganda aaaaand...... fuse & gasoline.
