I look at this differently. Why is Wolff coming out with a book trying to connect Trump to Maxwell and suggesting that he considered pardoning her? Because what is going to be revealed about her and the Clinton connection will be so abhorrent to people that he is trying to set the stage to make it seem Trump had no problem with her evil deeds. Another attempt to make it seem Trump is no better than the corrupt elites he will help expose. If you think about it, it’s what they’ve been doing all along - accusing him and even impeaching him over things that are simply mirrors of the stuff they’ve done - not because they thought they’d win, but to try to bring him down to their level in the public eye. To make it seem he is really one of them. What this says to me is they’re already trying to deflect from what’s gonna hit the fan in regards to the Clinton/Maxwell connection.
