These were my thoughts as well. If he is seen as a stain on the black community (is that term and idea any more than a construct to keep us separated?) then him speaking such truths serve to further discredit those truths for those who find him loathsome.

If on the other hand there is actual evidence of his innocence that comes forth, it will give credence towards those words. Not just because they come from "America's Dad" falsely framed, but because evidence of a false framing points to a conspiracy, which gives credibility to other conspiracies also being true.
