I love my very stable genius President, but he butchers the English language every way possible. I'm sorry but it still is no proof of anything. It took some getting used to, but now the way he leaves 1/2 the words out of his sentences is endearing. It is like his brain is thinking too fast for his mouth to catch up.
For example, this quote about kids taking the vaccine:
Trump claimed during an interview with Sean Hannity on Wednesday that school-age children should not be inoculated against the deadly virus. “Now we have to get back and the schools have to get open—and frankly, we’re lucky we have the vaccine. But the vaccine on very young people is something that you gotta really stop,” Trump inexplicably said. “You have to get back to running your country—I mean, I don’t see reasons—and I am a big believer in what we did with the vaccine. It’s incredible what we did. You see the results. But to have every school child, where it’s 99.99%, they just don’t—you know, they’re just not affected or affected badly. Having to receive a vaccine I think is something that you should start thinking about, because I think it’s unnecessary.”
What he is saying is that the risk from Covid-19 to a young person is absolutely negligible, so there is no reason to take the vaccine. The vaccine represents nothing but additional risk.
He may have been mixing tense just because it came out that way. Or maybe he was trying to reassure us. Don't act like this is a slam dunk. It isn't.
Yes, I love the way Trump skips words or half sentences at times. Usually its because of things he cannot say, or give a sound bite to the mockingbird - and there is a lot more meaning in the missing words for those who know.
I am not sure what that has to do with this. This was a very clear, well articulated sentence with no ambiguity of what he said. No missing words in that sentence.
Also, I am not sure what this has anything to do with the quotee about vaccination. According to the passage you posted, Trump said exactly what he wanted to say - that young people should not be vaccinated.
If you are dead set on believing that this quote from the interview is proof that he is still President of the United States, then go ahead. I don't care to waste any more time on this.
No one can be absolutely certain of everything, because we get to see only a small fraction of reality. We see glimpses of light here and there but to ignore any data point for whatever reason is not a smart idea. So I pay attention to everything, but dont jump to any conclusions. When these little glimpses here and little glimpses there paints a full picture, then it enters my belief system.
And regardless of this quote, too many things points to the fact that whether Trump is the president or not, things are going exactly as the White Hats would have wanted. So I believe he is the guy in control.
I am the President of the United states and I was taken off
He is not mixing tense, this is very intentionally said this way.

I would be very happy if you were right.
