Beware!! Scammers are calling through USAA's Customer Service number 1-800-531-8722!!

These scammers are reporting that they need to verify fraudulent activity on your account. Once you give your PIN and information to verify charges, they are wiping account clean!!

These scammers know the script and sound very professional.

Beware!! Check your account, and DO NOT give your info to anyone that is calling to verify charges on your account. Look at your account and tell them that you will call yourself.

I've never heard of a spoof phone call. I guess I've been fortunate. I haven't had to deal with many "shady people." lol!! Oh, and I am tech "stupid."

If I have had a spoof call, I probably didn't even know. My spidey senses are very good and I tend to know when something or someone is shady pretty fast. I hang up on a lot of people. haha!

I pray this crap never happens to me. My poor son is a broke college student and doesn't need this crap.
