My fuckin' sister in Australia tried to use my mom address to vote in Georgia election. No clue if she succeeded in voting, but the mere act of trying it brunt some bridges between us.
I never said people from out of state or that moved within the state should be aloud to vote twice. I read most of this article and it was talking about 50k people that moved from one county to another and were beyond the 30 days limit. I saw nothing about those people voting in both counties or at least not large numbers of them.
So you're saying if I move to south GA... which I am... and I still vote here in Atlanta 45 days later because I was too busy fucking moving to fill out the paperwork in the 30 days time-frame but I DO NOT VOTE in my new county in south GA that just because I missed some arbitrary 30 days time frame that I'm stripped of my right to vote? Yeah, if that's how anyone thinks this works you can all get fucked.
These people rigged computer systems to change hundreds of thousands of votes and they want to nit-pick 50k votes that might be technically illegal but half or more of them were not double votes they were just people being lazy? Seriously? That's what everyone is pegging their hopes of flipping GA back to Trump on???
Maybe I need to re-read that article more closely but it sounds like people need to actually fucking read what I said.
So what are you saying? Folks should just roll up and be like "I can't be bother to get my license updated as required by law, but let me vote here because I live here now. Trust me."
And if you actually move in October, you will be a small minority.
What I'm saying is there are better ways to handle this than a rule that gives all the power to the government and also gives the government the ability to DENY YOU YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE.
Seriously can you think of any right more important than voting? Even the 1st and 2nd pale in comparison to the right to vote. Without the right to vote none of it means anything. That's the whole reason this is such a huge problem to begin with.
Yet the solution everyone seems to be all in on is to just throw away thousands of REAL VOTES as a quick fix to getting rid of an unknown number of fake votes. No one seems interested in setting up things so we know what is fake and what isn't. Don't bother digging into the truth. Just throw the baby out with the bath water. We didn't need the baby anyway.
Let me put this another way. Whatever solution we come up with to these voting problems it can't be a solution that gives the government more control. Yet that is what you are all suggesting that a petty government bureaucratic rule is more important than a citizens right to vote.
I would remind you that you are dealing with people who's favorite weapon is lawfair.

You want to bitch and complain but offer no solution? Your whole post is garbage. Like a liberal rant.
Requiring people to file proper paper work when they move is a fucking part of life. Grow up and be responsible.
If they don't file the correct change of address, then they can't vote. Simple.
