And a little hard work.
Did you follow my bouncing balls?
If we could, we would already be doing it.
I guess I'll pay them in eggs! That'll work! Everyone pays their mortgage with eggs now so that'll work out perfect.
Self-pity is a mutilating trait. It disfigures the spirit.
Among our great grandparents, it was by no means uncommon for country people even worse off than you--no shoes, poor farming tools, more babies, hostile natural enviornment (animals, weather)--to assemble a one room school house with many community children served by their efforts.
You have two choices, to blame poverty for not taking care of the educational needs you feel your children have; or to do something new. Not paying in eggs or dollars, but gathering people who you can benefit in ways other than eggs or cash.
With a great deal of effort, thought, and ingenuity I am sure you can figure out an answer to a problem that many patriots have had to solve--how to escape marxist indoctrination and provide a high quality education.
But I already know your answer: you can't do it.
Back when America was largely Christian.
I live in the hood. Thanks for your suggestions though!
The community you speak of does not exist where I live. I love the idea. If this was Mr. Roger's neighborhood I'd be all about it.
Not everyone lives in the suburbs, Barbara.
