By RCC I assume you mean Roman Catholic Church? FYI, the Catholic Church was the FIRST church, the UNIVERSAL church, that's what "Catholic" means. Everything else, in my opinion, and in the opinions of all ancient church leaders and saints, is false. St. Peter, our first Pope, was Christ's apostle. You can't get much closer to Jesus than that. I'd like to know how some guy in the 1500s understood or knew more about Christ than St. Peter did.
You may not like what the Church has become now, I don't either, but just because there are evil men in control doesn't mean that I'm going to abandon the Holy Mother Church. Same with America, just because evil men are in control doesn't mean it's not worth fighting for and remaining inside of it to save it.
Sigh whatever though, this is all probably going in one ear and out the other. I'm getting really sick of the anti-Catholic views on this site, and it's starting to tick me off. I KNOW the Church is currently corrupt, I KNOW all of this, that doesn't mean that's how it started though, and I'm not abandoning it when I know it can be saved.
The farther the Catholic church is from Rome the less Catholic and the more Christian it becomes.
You're a brother in Christ.
I am a Catholic, which were the FIRST Christians. You can look up the history on that. I've said what I wanted to say. I'm done with all this anti-Catholic hatred on this site.
I'm not your enemy or even disputing who formed the first church. It was corrupted early in its history though.
It's not worth fighting or arguing over. You're a brother in Christ.
And the offshoots that began from the Catholic church aren't corrupt? None of them at all? You're telling me things I already know. I KNOW the church is corrupt, but it was NOT corrupted early in its history. It has been infiltrated only recently by free masons and such, around 200 years ago. That's not "early in its history."
I'm sick of being told my own faith by protestants or lutherans or baptists. I wouldn't argue over it if you would stop telling others you think you know more than they do about their own faith.
Again, this anti-Catholic rhetoric is starting to push me away from this community online here. And it all seems to stem from the same typical anti-Catholic talking points that have been proven wrong time and time again.
I guess I'll correct you now, but I'm not a guy, so I'm not a brother in Christ.
Anyway, you're going to say the same things as last time, so why even bother correcting or trying to tell you the truth, when you just don't want to believe it?
