Anyone convicted of sedition is ineligible to be Vice President. That would leave the VP spot open and Trump would need to appoint someone under the terms of the 25th Amendment. This is the same way Ford became VP, and Rockefeller after him.
Pence could also resign directly and save everyone the trouble of convicting him.
Either way, I don't imagine he would be VP for long.
We see reports of Pence under the RNC RINOs he is bucking for a 2024 bid. Trump on the other hand has snatched away the Republican population/supporters to his Save America - MAGA agenda. This is why he is doing the rally circuit so early and endorsing Republicans to replace the existing RINOs currently in office.
So, Trump is and continues to split the Republican Party. Who would vote for RINOS now? We see how McConnell flip-flops to the whim of whoever holds the Executive branch. He enriches himself and so many others who are beholden to their bureaucratic masters in the corrupt establishment.
Ask yourself a question; 'Who, what politician is doing such a great job in Congress to get voted in for 10-20-30+ years? Are they really doing that good of a job to enact laws FOR the People?
Trump is getting rid of these people by strengthening his MAGA-Save America base with We, The People supporters. Trump is draining the swamp and 'The Old Guard'.
