I think she is nervous. Also, many lawyers practice their lines before presenting them. So maybe you are hearing her reciting what she has gone over the night before, many times. Not everyone is a natural like Trump. Her heart is in the right place I think.

I read her the same. She is stepping outside her comfort zone in being in the media (I totally get that) but she is ambitious and perhaps courageous enough to push through.
