The world needs to DROP any mention of putting a mask on your face, regular masks do nearly NOTHING for anyone, unless you are kicking up dust and debris at work/hobby.
I've personally met a lot of these companies reps. Many people in games are there for escapism, to get away from social and political crap for 4 days of the year. This sucks.
Gaming Convention (not gambling). Board games, card games, role play, some video games.
Also has an art gallery, library, family events, on-site auction, hundreds of vendors (about 450 in 2019), tournaments, painting classes, thousands of events. ~64,000 attendees annually. I sell at the auction, brings in hundreds or thousands cash each year. Pays for the whole event usually.
I figured just us, one other family not going, and one family friend, theyre
Losing $5k in business. Not including room and board, just because they want masks.
Thanks for explaining and actually, that sounds like fun. I hope you let them know WHY you didn't go after 18 straight years. Sorry you'll miss it but so glad you're taking a stand. I have been thinking lately of all the wimpy men I know and how I crave real men to rise again. To me, this is a very man-ish stand to take. So thanks.

And for that you need a real respirator.
I'm reaching out to their sponsors and lettung them know why we're not going, and encouraging others to boycott.

I read that. I would skip GenCon too.
Let them all discover what they did to their own health when they took the mRNA "vaccines" first.
By 2022, GenCon will probably be less crowded, since 50% of them won't even be healthy enough to attend.
What the hell is a gen con?
