I only use ones with zinc oxide, there are new ones with the zinc in smaller particles so it doesn't stay so pasty and white. Still, the lotion is thicker than other types of sunscreen. I think it's worth that small irritation. I was always so nervous putting sunscreen on my kids. Some were fair skinned so burned very easy but I was suspicious it was the sunscreens that were causing the skin cancer epidemic.
What is a good natural way of protecting from sunburn? Have kids, wondering what other people use that has proven effective and safe?

Vegas sun sucks, but I'll give that a shot.
I’ve used Blue Lizard brand.
