I had my wife randomly enter the frequencies and not tell me. I listened to each for 10 minutes with high quality headphones. I could not tell the difference. So either it is a psychosomatic effect, or people are different.

Perhaps try without headphones.

Sound is not just for the ears. Frequency can be felt as well as heard.
