Alright, so what's your suggestion for resolving the issue? A major part of the reason that we're in the state that we're currently in as a culture is as a result of the schools and teachers pushing their personal beliefs onto kids from a young age.
I am not saying to watch the kids, I'm saying to give the parents closure and understanding for what their kids are being taught in the first place by giving them access to the lesson material itself, as its being taught, not as the curriculum says that it should be taught.
Of course parents should be more pro-active in the education of their children, but that doesn't work when the parent and teacher are in conflict, and when the parent trusts the teacher to do right by their children in the first place.
