Agreed. I think the South Africa riots have awakened many people to the dangers of not being armed and ready. Despite the heavy-handed approach to owning firearms, the military was calling for armed citizens to help them. They even contacted citizens with black market contacts to help supply ammunition. When they ran out of rubber bullets, they started using live rounds.
