This has a high probability of being a similar story and seeing how General Flynn was treated by the "just us" department and the FBI, I'm certain, nobody wants to voluntarily give them a look at and highlight for them your personal communications. They may still identify you for scrutiny using existing methods, but this freedom phone could basically give them a reason to look closely at you if they have indeed used this product as a surveillance platform.
