This. Really. You can see it in towns that preserved and restored their buildings. Greatness.

Compare that to corporate urban sprawls. Logos line the overused streets, packed with irrate motorists in a desperate hurry to not be wherever they are. McDonalds, RiteAID, Wal-Mart, Shell. Billboards assaulting your eyes for attention, ruining any and every landscape they inhabit. Sterilized corporate Meh-tropolises.
