I'm very sorry for him and am sure he is under tremendous pressure to comply. Even in the military culture though, freedoms and protection from medical experimentation do apply. Maybe you can share this with him to watch. I find her message and her manner very empowering.

He is not alone is facing a choice between his livelihood and his health/life. For many people, circumstances make this choice is very difficult. Best wishes to him.
