Internet went completely out where I'm at. It's back now, but I found out that it was affecting the entire region. Did it affect anyone else?

I was freaking out thinking something big was happening somewhere and I had no way to find out. Even the data on my phone didn't work, I was completely in the dark. I'm in the Midwest region, anything happen to anyone else?

NE Ohio . Lost power last night(Friday) from 6:30 ish for over an hour. While the power was out I got an email from my internet provider informing me of them having an outage at the same time. That never happened before, just seemed sort of odd.
