There are very wide spread protests going on right now in Iran, largely based on the lack of water. Some cases have been days without water. They are more than likely making excuses to cover for the regime and hide what’s going on. Internet has been cut to areas where large protests were taking place. Historically the regime has slaughtered protesters when they “turn out the lights” and no one is looking.
