Example:
approx. 6000 children get meningitis B each year. There are over 73 million children in the US. This means that they're supposed to be vaxxed against something that only affects 0.0082191780821918% of children.
I know this is anecdotal but as a child everyone I knew had the childhood diseases- chicken pox, mumps, measles, German measles, etc. None had any lingering side effects.
Does anyone know of someone who had a childhood illness that has had lifelong affects of the illness?
You older sons might have been on the older schedule. If you were born prior to 1990, you got MMR, DPT, and polio. After the 1986 law, they started stacking all kinds of random stuff like the one you mentioned, and it was just too much for a lot of kids.
Yes, they were. Our older son was born in 1975 and our younger son was born in 1984.
