Our economy down here is great. There's tons of job openings. If people weren't so picky, they'd be employed. If they wanted to work, they'd be employed. If they have marketable skills...same.
I hate freeloaders, too. Utterly worthless consumer sponges. That suit will be thrown out, too. Also, now at it gets in front of a judge before the expiration date.
I'm trying to get there...but working in Pennsylvania is out of question. I won't vax I wont mask...they can kiss my ass. If I ever get my vehicle out of moms name n estate I'll be there applying for everything I can
Get bent, commies. Or go back to work. Your choice.
I hate freeloaders. Their parents did a shit job raising them.
Bums should get back to work or else a free ride will to the Caribbean will be in order.
I live here in Florida & as usual the media is lying. Tourism is our biggest $$ maker. Since this pandemic started with all of the shutdowns, people are not traveling to Florida on vacations like they used to. Let's not forget that the theme parks are not fully open at full capacity and usual working hours. The theme Park's trimmed down their staff and cut their hours. Prices of new construction homes shot through the roof so production has slowed down. A lot of construction workers lost their jobs. People are not packig bars and restaurants like they used to. So there's no need to require the amount of employees that they used to have. And in reference to the fast food restaurant that claims he had to offer money just to get people to interview is a goddamn lie. What they are not telling the people is that they want an employee who's on call for 24 hours where you will work 3 hours one day and then come back that evening to work two hours then you won't come back until three days later to work for 1 hours.....Yes, 1 damn hour. If there is an immediate need for your presence, they expect you to stop what you're doing and rush there for the one hour that they need it . I know as they are doing this to my kids right now. What it cost my kids in gas just to drive to work for the 1 or 3 hours compared to the cost of fuel, they are basically working for free as the oil company is making all of their money. There is no consistent forty-hour workweeks because business is slow. And then the wishy washy scheduling that these bars and restaurants expect their people to work is so absurd that it leaves absolutely no room for routine much less an opportunity to find a second job. Then on top of all of this, Florida had an influx of people fleeing blue States, taking what available jobs for real Florida residents and competing in every field from lawyers, nurses, doctors, computer tech, lawn maintenance, construction workers, you name it. These newbies are snapping up every piece of land. RVs are flying off dealer Lots. People are so desperate that the value of used RVs has actually increased instead of decreasing. All RV parks, campgrounds and state parks are booked out for the next 6 to 9 months. People are not rushing to the mall to buy clothes or shoes. People are not rushing out to buy new vehicles. Then we have the inflation where the cost of everything is skyrocketing so that any little dollar people have is still not enough to buy what they need. So to all you who keep running your mouth, consider yourself lucky that you live in a state where there's some sort of factory or farming or some sort of production. Just imagine if half of the country moved to your state after this event? There would not be enough jobs. Especially when people would start cut throating to accept lesser pay just to get the job because they are that desperate. So people need to think of all aspects of the situation before posting your immediate negative thoughts.
Nobody needs "a job". Just a way to make money. It took me 50 years to figure out that I was way better off working for myself. Don't wait that long. Use my experience and work for yourself. People are desperate for plumbers, electricians, kitchen fitters, etc. Those trades aren't difficult to learn but you might have to move to a state where the regulations for the self-employed are logical and manageable.
I was lucky. At that time, I lived in the UK where regulations were minimal.
