You bought one? Yes please do - honestly, I'd be happy to spend the $500 if these basic questions were answered. What I'm concerned about is spending that kind of money and then having it break, and being shit out of luck. And it's just very suspicious to me that these very basic points of info are not even touched upon on their website.
Yes I was looking for a new phone and the timing was just right. Basically due to the T-Mobile/Sprint merger I was forced to change SIM cards and found out features I had on my current phone are no longer an option with the new SIM card. So basically everything is SIM card carrier controlled, which tells me nothing is secure. But, I'll support removal of Google any day.
Agreed 100% - I have a phone from 2015 and it's older than dirt; it doesn't always function properly, and the internal storage is full for some reason (can't seem to delete enough from it to make a difference) and it won't let me add any new apps for this reason. I've been holding out buying a new one for exactly this type of phone, if it's the real deal.
