oh yeah FDR Truman JFK were all 'gangsters' in their own way. One got us out of the depression, the other dropped the bomb, and JFK had Marylynn Monroe and just about dropped another bomb.

I guess Eisenhower was another one of these 'gangsters' who told that public college take eligible black kids or go out of business (Brown v BOE)

Poor Nixon, he was original and a gangster, but he cared about the country.

All the above were liberal is some respect, and all the above cared about the country. I can't say that for much of the others.
