A government will not change unless The People do something. It is right there in the Declaration of Independence.
Take for example: Catalunya. A more or less autonomous State in the Kingdom of Spain, looking to declare independence in 2018/2019.
It is not the People who become violent or threaten violence. It is the federal government of Spain, citing some idiot idea about integrity of the country.
So, the leaders ran tail, the people shut up. This is not to say, that this sentiment is not still brewing. But, if the People had really wanted, they would have resisted those hijo de putas de mierda who came into Catalunya to wreak havoc on them.
In the end, it is all about who's guns are bigger.
However, we are not yet at that point. taking over a government through elections is a very difficult thing.
First, you need the right movement. Second, people from that movement have to start become elected. From the local level upwards.
Only then will a top down view change to what was intended: The People are the Sovereign, not the beneficiary or the trustee. The People decide. Not some servant called the Federal Government.
Of course, it takes money. It takes effort, it takes planning, it takes doing something.
It is a form of revolution that runs within the realm of law and order, following the Constitution.
In the basic approach, any democratic process is meant to exhibit and channel a revolutionary spirit, without recourse to the ammunition box.
Clogging those processes, or hijacking it, takes tremendous effort to turn it around.
And guess what: The People are doing the AZ audit. The People are starting to demand and influence their reps to make audits. The People are demanding legislation to curb out of control governors.
And once the States are under patriot control. The FEDs .... are done for.
I would say: they you have perspective wrong.
