Just the drive from Johnson City South to Chattanooga is worth it. You can always divert East to hit Appalachian Trail or go visit Smokies. Dolly Central is the only place I would AVOID. If you have children a slow tubing float down a mountain stream is unforgettable. Do some searching 👍🏼
