I agree with most of this, but here comes my libertarian thoughts.

(yes, I want to be a libertarian, but as we have learned the world is corrupt AF so I'm speaking in ideal, yet achievable, goals)

As far as homosexuality, yes, it should be kept personal. But government needs to not be involved with marriage AT ALL. A lot of marriage laws started off being racially motivated, keeping whites from marrying blacks. I DO think a household needs at least two adults in order to properly care for children. This can be man and wife. This can be mother and grandmother. Etc. Adults can't be 100% working/adulting all the time as a solo adult. It's just too much.

Medical cost is a racket. Medical costs should be known up front and Trump definitely tried this. We should not be bound to employers in order to have affordable health care. What we have is essentially care via the "company doctor".
