Actually, Speaker of the House is a very powerful position ... Remember, the House controls the purse strings. If you have a Speaker like Trump, spending would be hard. Without spending other people's money, the DS is toast.

I don't think Trump would be Speaker for long though. If he were to take that route, it'd be a means to assume his rightful position as POTUS, then GEOTUS :-).
