Marvin,

 I readily confess that Dune is not immediately related to Q or the MAGA movement; except in that it includes themes of people working together on behalf of freedom and a better, more wholesome future. That said, I was OVERWHELMED (ecstatic!) by the SciFi Channel production (STILL can't believe they could do that!) and I would not argue with you about which was better. I LOVED the David Lynch version and still do today.

We are in 100% agreement regarding #3. AND, as much as I despise Hollywood, I am deeply indebted to those who can tell stories with film and sound, costumes, effects and actors. ESPECIALLY so, when those stories uplift the downtrodden and inspire hope and action.
