Most studies like this don’t account for stuff.
Like number of years women live longer, did they account for that? In US as of about 2020, women live about 5 years longer. So would have to account for carbon difference for that time.
Also would need to account for secondary carbon. Such as use in healthcare. Women use 2/3rds of healthcare dollars so would need to account for all carbon used in healthcare and adjust accordingly.
Etc you get the idea.
They prob just did primary household carbon used in one year and left it at that. It is not that simple of course.
