Well, I just watched this from 5 mo ago, and indeed the lights switch off. Admittedly, my friend had been at the VP residence for years vs WH, but I will ask him again. Hell, I live a few miles from the WH and if I wanted to go into DC and watch myself, I guess I could, LOL. I didn't give you a downvote.
Actually, you are correct. You can go there now and ask anyone with a USSS uniform if it is policy to turn light off. Then ask them how long that has been the case. So yeah, you absolutely can go there. Was that you that i had this convo with 5 months ago? I was trying ro see the white house on Jan 5th when I flew into DC for the rally. The lights were off and I asked a unifomed USSS officer then and they said every night. I could have swore he said 10, but i guess it was 11.
I think it was me, LOL. It may be the box stock response from USSS. My friend was on the front line during the siege and he said they knocked out the lights and went to red w/ IR illumination so the CAT could use their NODs.
And you shouldnt give me a downvote. Anyone here has the ability and opportunity to prove me wrong; but more often than not, when you attack peoples beliefs, they simply become offended and blind to the truth. Please prove me wrong, and when you do, i will accept that gracefully and thank you for doing so.
The case that people are making now is that the exterior lighting is somehow relevant to whether or not the president is staying there. That Bidet isn't staying at the white house or something. But when I make the case that they were shut off for Trump too, people... well look at the other comments. I guess the point im trying ro make is that you cant go there now and prove anything because the lights being off now only proves their point. But the lights being off during Trumps admin prove that they were always shut off
