Is she lying? Discrediting her for past stuff if she is telling the truth today is a bit unfair. She told you how it works so of course she Parrotted the narrative too. Having said that, I would NOT vote for her.
I think my issue is that she knew the narrative was being pushed down, she knew they were pushing propaganda for 27 years, she knew. I could see 5-7 years or whatever it takes to get high enough to know what was going on, but to knowingly push the narrative for money and fame. I just don't trust someone that doesn't have enough integrity to have quit when they realized they were being used to push corporate propaganda. This is what got us in this mess to begin with. Lack of integrity for personal gain. Just inch by inch compromising morals and ethics until you are completely corrupt. If the media was tempting for her to turn a blind eye for nearly three decades, I don't think politics is going to be better. Redemption makes for great movies and novels, but I would trust a lifetime of morals and ethics over such a flashy "redemption" story. I personally know one a prior journalist that quit after 6 years, even though she was a raging feminist liberal, when they would kill her story about corrupt dem politicians in Florida and Georgia, she quit and became a paralegal. Ill give her credit for having the moral integrity to leave the field rather than be a part of it.
