Go binge watch Jericho, and then ponder on how your area would actually respond.
Prioritize things in the order they will kill you if you don't have them. (TP isn't the first concern)
A pond, a pressure canner and meat on the hoof will go a long way in making you feel better about your chances.
I enjoyed that show. I think it did a good job of showing what good leadership and sense of community would do to survive a catastrophe.
Watching that was instrumental in our decision to move across the country to a small rural town, no joke.
Edit- No regrets either. If anyone is thinking about it, can recommend.
Also read the novel One Second After.
And read at least the public version the EMP commission report.
