We watch that regularly. I told my husband it is just stupid to go to a place that has grizzlies everywhere with no way to defend yourself. And they try to survive among them when they can't harvest them. I would never set myself up like that.
Most of those reality "survival" shows are completely fake with full teams on site, campsites, makeup, emergency choppers, etc. As for the bears, in real life it's more often than not the case that bears are more scared of people than anything. Grizzly (and kodiaks in particular) are a bit more aggressive and territorial and can on occasion attack humans unprovoked, but that's rare. Black bears on the other hand are basically like giant dogs. Scream at them and scold them and they'll run away in shame. Works on Grizzlies most of the time too.
Beyond that Polar Bears are really the only super aggressive bears. They're the only ones that will actively hunt humans with little to no regard. That's because they're an apex predator and technically above us on the food chain in nature (assuming tools such as guns aren't in play.) so combine that with their infrequent encounters with humans and they treat us like they do every other potential meal.
...and yet, you're watching it. Kek.
Fuck. Busted Pede! LOL!
LOL!
This guy is incredible.

When the SHTF, I want this guy on my team!
For sure!
Watch his stuff. At one point he has a coke oven type deal, and harvests iron pebbles out of the soil.
Did you see this woman build a treehouse single-handedly? Wow! Who needs Home Depot when you can do this!?!

Cool stuff. Wish my wife could do that. They don't need men. Thanx.

It's a TV entertainment show first and foremost.
Ha! I'm watching this show too. On season three now. It's entertaining for sure.
