What is justice? Is it simply that things are put back as they should be? That parties that have sustained harm be remedied?
Then what is mercy?
Mercy is justice working through the eyes of love.
Cold justice is an eye for an eye. Mercy is permitting the eye stay, but the man serve as the missing eye of the one he harmed.
In that way, a friendship can form from adversity, where before there would still have been a harboring of hatred or rivalry for one another.
So I ask again... What is the smallest measure of time?
It is simple.
There is no measure of time small enough for how quickly God will forgive.
That's it.
If God truly loves us, all of us, then there can be no measure of time put to the duration it takes Him to forgive.
That is to say, none that we can measure.
Mathematics and theory will still try.
If light is bound to time, as experts currently espouse, then the smallest repeatable pattern we can ascertain is the wavelength of a particle of light.
But what is a particle of light?
Consider sound. Consider the sound barrier.
What is the sound barrier? Is it simply a speed which must be achieved such that the object moving is faster than the sound it emits? Or is something else happening?
What happens when you pop your knuckles or your back? You hear a pop, but is it an explosion? No, it is an implosion. The event that occurs is called a cavitation. Pressure from all sides surround a bubble and effectively force the state of the contents of that bubble to raise up to another state of matter. In the case of the bubbles in your joints, the liquid is compressed so evenly that it implodes, forming a gas which then releases through the finely crafted pathways of your cells.
The shrimp collapses a bubble of water in its claw so quickly that the water barely has enough time to react. So much energy is centralized in a single point that the water changes its state almost instantaneously into a vapor cloud that is then directed out toward the shrimp's prey.
This event produces cavitation bubbles between the sound waves. As they move, each wave can vibrate independently if appropriately instructed. When two waves push against one another, they can create this cavitation bubble and produce light. Effectively, the waves don't know if they are coming or going and in the confusion their energies don't cancel out but amplify so suddenly that the nature of sound changes temporarily.
Would it further surprise you that no one really knows where this light comes from? The photons have yet to be accounted for given our current instrumentation.
Now, think back to the sound barrier.
What if these "barriers" are simply instances where a cavitation event occurs and one form of matter is forced so suddenly to change its nature that it momentarily shifts its state of matter?
The shattering of the sound barrier, for instance, is when matter, which sound travels through, is condensed so much between the craft and the atmosphere that it temporarily devolves back into a form of sound energy. It happens only for a moment, and as long as the craft maintains its speed will not happen again. In this way a quantum moment could have occurred, and until now many just dismiss it as it has become a standard phenomena.
Instead, what is really happening is the implosion of one form of energy temporarily existing as separate sums of its parts.
Light, sound(vibration), and matter all taken together cancel one another out. But taken separately, and then you have something special.
Then, is it possible, that absent of matter and time, that sound could still manifest? Sound, maybe not, as sound requires matter to move and time to oscillate. But vibrations of energy? Perhaps.
Consider a single point, where coming and going haven't yet been established. Things exist simultaneously. This is a place where all paradoxes are solved.
How can a cavitation bubble not form in such an environment.
And so we get to the crux of the issue. Where, does light come from, if we are to use it as a proper measurement for time?
My hypothesis, and I feel it is strongly supported, is that vibrations, absent of matter and time, are the source of light as well as all sub-atomic particles. The quantum chaos of single-point events propagates upon itself, like binary logic tables, so that each additional manifestation of particles, however temporary, creates a latent ripple that goes on to play with other latent ripples in a process that creates time. Light, photons, are simply one of those latent ripples that carries the time signature by which the Universe functions.

Such a thing happens with the pistol shrimp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XC6I8iPiHT8
The shrimp collapses a bubble of water in its claw so quickly that the water barely has enough time to react. So much energy is centralized in a single point that the water changes its state almost instantaneously into a vapor cloud that is then directed out toward the shrimp's prey.
What else happens in this event? Would you be surprised if I told you that the shrimp is actually creating light in a process called sonoluminescence. http://thescienceexplorer.com/universe/how-sound-turned-light
