I sent him a link to this site after work yesterday. This morning he tells me it’s opening up his eyes and he’s rethinking it. Talk about a win!

So there's a psyche experiment, many of you may have seen a few years ago.
It's doctor's office. The secretary and a "patient" are in on the gag. Basically, randomly, the secretary will ding a bell. When she rings this bell the first time, there is one other real patient in the office. When the 'patient' stands up, the actual patient asks why. He says " I dunno, they were doing it when I got here"
After about an hour, there's 9 or 10 real patients in this office. Every time the bell rings, each patient that has been 'informed' stands up as well. NONE of them are ever told why, they just do because everyone else does.
After they are told they were used as a social experiment, they ALL gave the same answer as to why they stood up w/out asking, and the answer is scary:
"Everyone else was doing it. I didn't want to be weird and NOT do it, even though I didn't know why"
And... that's how things like this get ground.
ONE media outlet ( magazine, newspaper, etc ) prints a story saying " everyone is doing this...." They KNOW, xxx of people are just plain gullible and will immediately start doing this thing because they actually believe everyone is doing it and they don't want to be left out.
"Good Parenting" is a great example of this.
Hello transgenders and , hello vaxxes. Simple, simple programming and it works like a charm.
