I did watch all of it actually. Telescopes have been around for centuries, although I have to admit I've never owned/used one. Proving it should be pretty simple, though. Is it worth hundreds of dollars to settle an internet argument? Not in this economy.

Why do you see a ship mast before the ship and only have a view about 9 miles out? If it were flat you should be able to see a lot further than that. Through the observation of the celestial bodies above us we are able to determine that the earth tilts on its axis how would that makes sense with a flat earth? The moon has a cycle across the horizon that is about an 18 year cycle. If the earth were flat and the heavenly bodies not using natural law to orbit from gravity, why would that be necessary or needed. Would it not be fixed? If it was just the masons trying to deceive us why is nature plotting against us as well? The observances we see broken down into mathematical equations describe a spherical earth that orbits like the rest of the planets. Have you never observed these natural occurrences for yourself? Why is it that when you get to a high elevation the horizon is curved?
