I'm not sure they even had to keep it under wraps. The hubris of the Cabal was their downfall. They truly believed themselves to be untouchable.
I spent a lot of time on this. The official story is that a helicopter left its searchlight on. It was as long time exposure, which means that a steady moving light will make a mostly straight line.
I worked out the speed and angles at the time and decided that the official explanation was pretty good. I was trying pretty hard to disprove it but I failed. Do I believe it was a helicopter with a search light? No. But neither do I believe it was a missile launch. I worked out the math for that also. Exposure time, etc. They both fit. So maybe Q was just trying to build excitement. IDK.

Are you kidding me? A searchlight from a helicopter? Look how high and powerful that energy source is. Look at the mountain range in the background for perspective. A helicopter above that range would be a dot. I was born at night but not last night.
Probably talking about the incoming missiles which were intercepted off the coast of Alaska.
