I don't believe there are a group of people who are "white hats" sitting around pulling levers and "hacking" things to confirm biases.

I believe there are people who are aware of what is going on and are trying their best to stop it, but they aren't "in control" or "already won" ; they are just actively resisting.

I also don't believe "we are watching a movie", in the context it gets thrown around now on boards like this. It gets thrown around as an excuse now, where as before it was related directly to a drop.
