They definitely are, I keep hearing military aircraft and helicopters flying over my neighborhood in CA on a daily basis as if it's completely normal and this never happened before to this extent.

Can you give a general region? I'm in L.A. Westside and have been observing military chopper activity for a while. Boosts my spirits every time.

I'm not familiar with the area, but mapping it shows 7.9 miles and a 15 min drive... I'd say that's pretty close for a helicopter that can travel 200+mph.
