Very unfortunate, the 'system' is by design an input-output organization for mediocrity - you see this in any large scale organization (especially Government). It's the industrialization of mental acuity and excellence - the unfortunate side affect is those who are excellent are held back, those who are behind are behind are left even farther behind -- it's all about same-ness, wage slaves.
