1. what is “said” (strategic comms for coercive, fear-mongering purposes)
2. what could happen (allowing what is “said” to imply future scenarios that may or will come to pass)
3. what is actually happening (how comms translate into real world actions) All too easy for #2 to feel like #3 if our critical thinking filters slip for even a moment, especially when deeply immersed. Always take stock, be planning, read the tea leaves, but NEVER forget to live life. Ultimately it’s this spirit they want to crush.
