The genius of the founding fathers was to create United States. What I mean is that the Constitution is all about limiting the power of the federal government and leaving the power with the states. Authoritarians hate that one simple trick, because it allows people in one state to have different rules than another. So people can compare the results in their state to others.
NC can't lockdown and demand masks when other states do nothing and are perfectly fine. The pressure from the people will be too much.
I lived in NC for many years. It isn't a libtard state like Vermont or CT.
I’m just waiting for our dumb governor in CO to follow CA and NY lead. And so far, Weld County, CO nor any other supposed “red county” have been as “based” as everyone in CO would like to think. The whole state sucks, compliments of democrats fleeing the bad choices they made in CA, NY, and Chicago for the last 15 years. 🙄🤦🏼♀️
What area? I'm south of Winston and north of Charlotte. Lately I don't see many people wearing masks when I go out, but at certain places I do, and it is mandated - like specific community colleges. They still enforce this rule. And I'm betting places like this, and some companies are chomping at the bit to enforce the vaxx mandate.
I lived in Durham for half a decade in the 1980's when I was going to Duke for grad school.
It was very different from New York but I mostly liked it.
People drive like morons and the people that set up the traffic light timing seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. But I felt safe there and most people were friendly.
And everything was much cheaper. It was a shock when we moved back to NY.
A lot has changed here since the 80s Fren. In Charlotte alone with the influx of new York and new jersey Bank of America employees, it's changed the demographics tremendously. The triad has always leaned liberal.

The 10th Amendment is rockin and rollin except in certain blue states-Colorado included...

Dominion has much more influence than we realize and for more years than is good.. My votes haven't counted really since 2000..

It depends on the area in NC. In the cities it's mostly libtard now.
Is it really though?
Or is that what the voting results are telling you?

Sorry didn't mean to disparage Vermont. Wifey and I visited there a few years ago and loved it. I took this picture
