Just moved to a new area and walked into the Pearl Vision at my mall to get some contacts. It was dead. They had a mask requirement. I was informed of that by a lady who said “you need a mask” as though it was the only form of power she had. I said have a nice day, walked out, and went into Lenscrafters which is ij the same damn mall. 3 people were waiting before me. 2 people sitting down before an exam. And no masks anywhere to be seen. This was yesterday

I go in today to pick up the contacts and had a conversation with the 2 older ladies at the desk and I explained to them that idk if they noticed but while they’ve been busy, Pearls was absolutely dead. And I told them jokingly they were getting all of Pearls clientele because of the masks. They both looked at me and said that they were done with them and that there was no way they or anyone they knew would be playing this game again.

Moral of the story. These communist bureaucrats can pass whatever they want, but their laws mean shit when the people decide they no longer want to be governed.

Divided we are weak. United we are strong.

Edit: the mall itself doesnt have a mask requirement. It was just that individual store.
