If you authorize them to see it, then it isn't violating any known HIPAA laws. That's why you should always figure on denying those disclosures unless they really have a need for it. A "convention" of any type doesn't qualify.

Marjorie Taylor Green has confirmed that anyone who asks you about your vaccination status, whether journalist or whoever, is violating HIPAA and could be prosecuted.
