I think a lot of them watched Contagion. In that it’s a sniffable vaccine that saves the day. It’s all very simple. Humanity discovers vaccine, pandemic is cured, everyone gets it, credits roll. I think people pictured it all playing out like that. But that was a movie. In real life, the vaccine is a con job and money grab. The big pharmaceutical companies are corrupt. Politicians and government bureaucrats are all bought off or blackmailed. The media lies. Half the people don’t take it. The rollout is full of mistakes. Half the vaccines get pulled from the market. There are all these side effects.
