Can anyone relate, help or advise please!
My wife has been having irregular periods for 3 cycles in a row now. We are both not vaxxed and never taken a bs test but we work around others who are and both have vaxxed family members that we see on regular basis.
For the past 3 cycles she has had a considerably heavier flow for a longer period of time. PMS symptoms are more severe such as severe cramping, headaches and back pain even sometimes starting on day 4-5 of her cycle which is extremely rare for her.
She has always had a light/short cycles in the past. Having heavy flow on day 3-4 is unheard of for her and at this point we are looking for answers.
I’ve been here for a very long time and I know this has been discussed before throughout the pandemic and vaccine/weapon roll out. Can any of you relate, advise or lead us to some answers?
Thank you all!
When I had covid last year, I googled "black blood coronavirus." The reason I did the search was because I, as a diabetic, have been testing my blood and see it daily for years, and got very freaked out by it being thick and sticky and nearly black. The results produced many links to testimonials from women (mostly in comments on articles; this was April last year) who noted that they had heavier and noticeably darker blood flows. Also a few nurses and doctors who noted that this happened to them and among their patients. There were also many reports of clogged catheters in the early days before blood thinners were routinely administered for covid. I tried to duplicate the search results later, but haven't been able to.
I've come to understand it is a lesser-discussed covid symptom, indicative of clotting within the bloodstream. Lesser-discussed because other indicators are more precise. But research seems to back this up: I recommend going through the medcram.com website and their covid series if you want more info. It's a lot to look through, but the lectures are well organized and well titled. (And you can skip the earlier ones, as they were summarizing the research as it came in, and later ones have better data.)
Like other posters have said, it could be a million other things as well. Even if it is covid, it'll probably resolve on its own. But worth considering, especially if either of you have additional symptoms like covid toes or especially trouble breathing. Notable that headaches and fatigue are also covid symptoms; don't think back pain was on the list though, just severe muscle fatigue. If it's covid, there's a bunch of things to do, like NAC and ivermectin. Good luck: I hope she feels better soon.
