I have been thinking that one possible scenario is that the good guys knew, at a certain point, thad gained control over all vax production and were able to make them inert. If OP take it, they cannot be harmed and any politician still saying ok is only because they know it can’t cause any direct damage. (And possibly the good guys also gained control at some point over the testing products which were not only flawed but actually contained harmful substances.)
