People are saying they wont be armed and others say they dont have the right to make arrests of citizens of australia so why are they there? Intimidation is my guess. Thoughts or facts to support or expose this information/story

Indeed. And, it takes only one or two "liberated" fire-arms to 'liberate' ten or twenty fire-arms; to liberate a hundred fire-arms... etc. Hopefully, the soldiers can be disarmed "peacefully" and be sent home. Otherwise...
