The only problem I see is that the HR recruiter that is seeing your resume doesn't make the policy nor is he /she going to share with those that are. There is basically no way for the action to cause change. But if it makes you feel better then go for it!
Yep, upper management at my firm is in panic mode over all the people we've been losing lately especially as they get poached to other states. The amount of people leaving the state is scaring them as they realize the talent pool here is literally drying up.

not necessarily true. If they have problems filling positions because of pushback, eventually, the higher ups are going to be told.
